First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Bekim Sali meets Representatives of the European Commission and COELA in Brussels

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Bekim Sali, following meetings with representatives of the European Commission and COELA, stated that the strong commitment to advancing the European integration process of North Macedonia and implementing key reforms in line with European standards remains steadfast.

He emphasized that the discussions focused on the implementation of the Reform Agenda and the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, the rule of law, public administration reforms, energy, as well as infrastructure projects and regional connectivity.

“The progress achieved so far and the continuous cooperation with European institutions were positively assessed, while the importance of a fair, predictable, and merit-based process on the path toward full membership in the European Union was underlined,” the statement said.

Sali also highlighted the importance of regional cooperation and gradual integration into the Common European Market, describing them as key elements for stability, economic development, and security in the region.
