Integrity Policy

The Ministry of European Affairs, based on its commitment to ensuring respect for constitutionality, legality, professional integrity, transparency and the protection of human freedoms and rights, has adopted the Integrity Policy.

What is integrity?
Integrity means the legal, independent, impartial, ethical, responsible and transparent performance of duties by which officials preserve their reputation and the reputation of the institution in which they are a responsible person, i.e. they are employed, eliminate risks and remove doubts about the possibility of the occurrence and development of corruption, and thus ensure the trust of citizens in the performance of public functions and in the work of public institutions.

Why do we adopt the Integrity Policy?
The adoption of the Integrity Policy is the first step and the main mechanism for determining the level of integrity and, at the same time, the most important tool for strengthening integrity.
Strengthening and enhancing integrity is a common mission and responsibility of all institutions in the system and at all levels of government.
