The Sector for the preparation of the national version of the acquis is also dedicated to researching and establishing precisely defined guidelines for translators, linguistic, legal and expert reviewers and for all those who work daily on the preparation of the national version of the acquis. This ensures consistency in the translation and perception of characteristic terms, guidelines that contain the unification of translations of individual parts of legal acts, taking into account the regulations of the Macedonian language, as well as the specifics of the language/style of the legal acts of the European Union.
In order to achieve harmonisation of the structure of EU legal regulations, translators/participants in the process should adhere to the established methodology, clearly defined standards and procedures, for which the Sector has developed manuals for the translation of EU legal acts and legal acts of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as a large number of glossaries from various fields.
