Prof. Dr. Viktorija Trajkov is Deputy Minister for European Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia and an Associate Professor with many years of academic and professional experience in the fields of economics, marketing, public policy, and European integration. She holds a PhD in Economics, specializing in marketing and branding, and a Master’s degree in Public Relations, with a specialization in the impact of public relations on political campaigns.
As Deputy Minister for European Affairs and Deputy Chief Negotiator with the European Union, Prof. Dr. Trajkov actively participates in the country’s European integration process, with a focus on reforms, the rule of law, good governance, the fight against corruption, economic governance, and strengthening institutional capacities.
In 2026, she co-chaired the 19th meeting of the EU–North Macedonia Stabilisation and Association Committee.
Throughout her academic career, she has taught political marketing, economics, and pricing policy, and is the author of numerous domestic and international academic papers, as well as the book Nation Branding. Her professional and academic work also includes international projects and initiatives in the fields of economics, education, and European cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Trajkov is a strong advocate for North Macedonia’s European perspective, democratic and inclusive governance, institutional accountability, and policies that contribute to stability, social cohesion, and sustainable development.
