The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, Bekim Sali, held an official meeting in Brussels with the Director-General for Enlargement of the European Union

The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and Minister for European Affairs, Mr. Bekim Sali, held an official meeting in Brussels with the Director-General for Enlargement of the European Union, Mr. Gert Jan Koopman.

During the meeting, discussions covered the implementation of the Reform Agenda and the Growth Plan, the progress achieved in the field of digitization, as well as key reforms within the European integration process. Specific benefits for citizens and the business community were highlighted, including access to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and the advancement of digital initiatives, such as the WiFi4WB project.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the third disbursement request for funds within the Reform Agenda, the progress of implementing the reform guidelines, and current challenges related to the Entry/Exit System and the European Union's trade policies. In this context, the importance of continued cooperation and effective inter-institutional coordination for successfully achieving common goals was emphasized.
