The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Mr Bekim Sali, held a meeting with the European Investment Bank (EIB) Representative in the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr Björn Gabriel.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the Government and the EIB, as well as accelerating the implementation of EU-supported projects. Particular attention was given to projects in infrastructure, energy, environment, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Deputy Prime Minister Sali underlined the importance of the EIB as a key partner in advancing economic development and supporting the country’s reform and EU integration agenda.
For his part, EIB Representative Gabriel reaffirmed the Bank’s readiness to continue its support and expand cooperation through strategic projects contributing to the country’s sustainable development.
