The Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani, and the Director of the European Policy Institute (EPI), Simonida Kacarska, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation today at the Ministry of European Affairs (MEP) of the Republic of North Macedonia, thus formalizing the joint commitment of MEP and EPI to successfully implement the project "WB Reform and Growth Monitor".
The project, which is funded by the European Union, aims to enable civil society organizations from the region to actively contribute to the design and credible implementation of reforms related to the four pillars of the European Commission's Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
Through this cooperation, MEP and EPI will work together to monitor and analyze the implementation of the Reform Agenda 2024-2027, in order to ensure enhanced participation in reform processes, foster transparency and increase the influence of civil society organizations in policymaking. This partnership represents a significant step towards building an inclusive and efficient mechanism for monitoring reforms, which are essential for the economic and social development of North Macedonia and the region.
