Deputy Minister for European Affairs and Deputy Chief Negotiator with the EU, Viktorija Trajkov, today, within the framework of her working visit to Hungary where she participated in the Hungarian-Macedonian intergovernmental summit in Budapest, met with the Hungarian Minister for European Affairs, János Boka.
The focus of the meeting was on intensifying mutual cooperation between the two countries and exchanging expertise in the field of European integration. At the meeting, Deputy Minister for European Affairs and Deputy Chief Negotiator with the EU, Trajkov emphasized the continuous support that our country receives from Hungary on its path to the EU.
In addition, Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Trajkov thanked the Hungarian Minister for European Affairs, Boka, for the assistance from Hungary, which opens up new opportunities for the development of our country.
The readiness to deepen cooperation between the two countries in several sectors was jointly emphasized, which will accelerate the reform processes of our country, and thus facilitate the accession process.
The meeting concluded that Hungary will continue to support our country in the implementation of the processes for joining the EU as soon as possible.
