Following the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation with Moldova in the EU area, the Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani, also met with Ina Kosheru, Chairwoman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration, at the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The meeting focused on advancing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in the European integration process.
Minister Murtezani and President Kosheru discussed the importance of harmonizing reform agendas and strengthening parliamentary dialogue. They stressed the importance of exchanging best practices in legislative alignment, public administration reforms and the promotion of democratic institutions.
Murtezani reaffirmed North Macedonia’s readiness to assist Moldova in its reform processes, especially in the area of the rule of law and alignment with the European Union law. President Kosheru thanked North Macedonia for its support and underlined the role of inter-party cooperation in the successful implementation of reforms. Murtezani and Kosheru reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening the partnership in the European integration process.
