First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs Bekim Sali delivered an address at the opening of the Project Cycle Management Training Programme within the IPABRIDGE initiative, held in Skopje from 28 to 31 July 2026.
In his remarks, Minister Sali expressed particular appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Türkiye, the Directorate for EU Affairs, and the Turkish partners for their continuous support, sincere cooperation, and readiness to share expertise and practical experience.
“Türkiye has been and remains a reliable partner on our European path. Its support in strengthening administrative and institutional capacities is of particular importance for preparing our country for the responsibilities arising from future EU membership,” Sali stated.
The training programme covers important topics such as Project Cycle Management, the IPA III financial framework, stakeholder analysis, the Logical Framework Approach, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting. Its purpose is to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of the administration for the higher-quality preparation and implementation of EU-funded projects.
Minister Sali emphasized that cooperation with Türkiye will continue and further expand in the future through joint activities, exchange of expertise, and initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional capacities.
“We expect this partnership to continue developing and to deliver concrete results for our institutions and our citizens,” Minister Sali concluded.
