The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Bekim Sali, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Özlem Canel.
The meeting focused on the EU accession process, implementation of the Reform Agenda, and bilateral cooperation. Minister Sali underlined that EU membership remains a strategic priority, reaffirming North Macedonia’s full alignment with the Rule of Law.
The discussion addressed constitutional amendments as a precondition for opening negotiation clusters, as well as progress under the Fundamentals Cluster. It was also noted that the third Request for Release of Funds under the Growth Plan was submitted on time, reflecting concrete reform progress.
Both sides confirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation, particularly in the areas of rule of law and EU-related reforms.
