The First Deputy Prime Minister, Bekim Sali, held an official meeting with the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, during which they discussed the current political situation and the cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on political developments and on strengthening institutional cooperation between North Macedonia and Albania.
The First Deputy Prime Minister, Sali, emphasized that Albanians in North Macedonia are represented in the best possible way, playing an active and constructive role in state institutions, contributing to decision-making processes and to key processes related to the country’s stability, democratic development, and European perspective.
The meeting underlined that the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania, in addition to being neighboring and friendly countries, also share common aspirations in the process of European integration.
