The meeting reaffirmed the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries, as well as their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation.
First Deputy Prime Minister Sali expressed appreciation for Ireland’s principled support for EU enlargement policy and for North Macedonia’s European perspective. He underlined the Government’s strong commitment to the reform agenda, particularly in the areas of rule of law, public administration reform, and strengthening democratic institutions.
The interlocutors discussed opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation, including through EU instruments such as Twinning and TAIEX, as well as through direct partnerships aimed at strengthening administrative capacities.
The Ministry for European Affairs remains fully committed to further deepening cooperation with Ireland in support of North Macedonia’s European integration path.
