Official Visit to Brussels by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European Affairs, Bekim Sali

The First Deputy Prime Minister, Bekim Sali, has begun his official visit to Brussels with a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus.

As part of the official visit to Brussels, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European Affairs, Bekim Sali, opened his meeting agenda with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Ms. Kristina Rafti.

During the meeting, Minister Sali congratulated Ambassador Rafti on the Republic of Cyprus assuming the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and briefed her on the achievements to date in the country’s European integration process.

The discussions focused on the reform agenda, the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, as well as key priorities related to progress in negotiations with the European Union. The importance of continued cooperation and support from European partners was emphasized for the implementation of reforms and the further advancement of the integration process.
