The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Bekim Sali, together with the Prime Minister and representatives of the relevant institutions, held an online meeting with senior representatives of the European Commission regarding the implementation of the Reform Agenda and the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
The meeting was attended by Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood at the European Commission, as well as other representatives of the European Commission and state institutions.
The discussion focused on the progress achieved in implementing priority reforms, the dynamics of fulfilling reform steps, and interinstitutional coordination within the framework of the Reform and Growth Facility.
The importance of continuing reforms in the areas of rule of law, public administration, public financial management, digital transformation, and economic development was underlined as part of the country’s European integration process.
The interlocutors reaffirmed the partnership and close cooperation between the Government and the European Commission in implementing reform priorities and advancing the country’s European path.
