The Minister for European Affairs and First Deputy Prime Minister, Bekim Sali, participated in the session of the Stabilisation and Association Committee (SAC), chaired by the Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Viktorija Trajkov. During the session, a review of the progress achieved in the European integration process was conducted, and priorities for the upcoming period were defined.
At the meeting, the Government’s commitment to steady progress on the European path was reaffirmed, with a focus on delivering concrete reform results, particularly in the areas of the rule of law, public administration, and the functioning of democratic institutions.
In this context, it was emphasized that gradual integration into the EU Single Market is already bringing tangible benefits for citizens and businesses. Initiatives such as SEPA, WiFi4WB, as well as upcoming projects in the areas of roaming and industrial alignment, contribute to reducing costs, improving connectivity, and opening new opportunities for companies and young people.
These steps, it was highlighted, demonstrate that European integration is not only a long-term political objective, but also a process that is already delivering concrete benefits in the everyday lives of citizens.
North Macedonia remains focused on reforms, strengthening institutions, and ensuring steady progress toward full membership in the European Union.
