The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Bekim Sali, together with the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, visited today the Stiv Naumov Student Dormitory, which is being renovated with the support of the European Union.
During the visit, the progress of the project was presented, highlighting its contribution to improving student accommodation, enhancing energy efficiency and developing more sustainable public infrastructure.
Minister Sali stressed that the project is a concrete example of how partnership with the European Union and the implementation of reforms deliver direct benefits for citizens.
"Investing in young people means investing in the future of our country. This project demonstrates that reforms, supported by the European Union, create better opportunities, higher standards and improved living conditions for our students," Minister Sali stated.
He further underlined that the project illustrates the strong link between reforms and investments, confirming that the European integration process delivers visible and meaningful benefits for citizens.
The visit concluded with an open discussion with students and young people on the opportunities created by the EU integration process, the importance of reforms and North Macedonia's European future.
