The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Bekim Sali, participated in the official activities marking Europe Day 2026, organised at the City Park in Skopje together with the European Union Ambassador, H.E. Michalis Rokas, EU Member States Ambassadors, and the Mayor of the City of Skopje.
As part of the official programme, Minister Sali took part in the official address and media statements, underlining that European integration remains a strategic priority of the Government and that Europe Day symbolises unity, solidarity and the shared European future of the citizens of North Macedonia.
Following the official segment, the delegation visited the thematic zones dedicated to local products, sustainable economy initiatives and EU-supported creative projects.
The event concluded with the symbolic opening of the Europe Day Games, organised together with EU Member States to promote the European spirit, cooperation and cultural diversity.
