The Second Call for Strategic Project Proposals with a strategic focus on the Prespa Region within the framework of the Interreg (4-A) Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Greece – North Macedonia 2021 – 2027 is ongoing and will be open until 11.10.2024.
The call invites the Ministry of Interior and the Municipality of Resen on the Macedonian side and the Region of Western Macedonia, the Municipality of Prespa and the Ministry of Interior (Sector Macedonia – Thrace) on the Greek side to submit a project proposal focusing on RSO3.2 of the programme (Development and improvement of sustainable, climate resilient, intelligent and intermodal national, regional and local mobility, including better access to TEN-T and cross-border mobility).
This call is a significant opportunity to promote regional development and cross-border cooperation and EUR 7.72 million are made available from the aforementioned programme (EU funding rate 80%).
