The Secretariat for European Affairs announces the opening of the first call for project funding under the Interreg IPA ADRION programme.
The target group of the call (potential beneficiaries) are:
- Public bodies, as well as their associations
- Bodies regulated by public law, as well as their associations
- International organizations regulated by national legislation
- Private institutions and organizations
The first call of the IPA ADRION program is intended to support projects that address the following priorities and specific objectives:
1. Priority axis 1: Supporting a smart Adriatic-Ionian region
- Specific objective 1.1: Strengthening innovation capacities in the Adriatic-Ionian region
2. Priority axis 2: Supporting a greener Adriatic-Ionian region resilient to climate change
- Specific objective 2.1: Improving resilience to climate change, natural and man-made disasters in the Adriatic-Ionian region
- Specific objective 2.2: Supporting the development of Circular Economy in the Adriatic and Ionian Region
- Specific Objective 2.3: Supporting the preservation and protection of the environment in the Adriatic and Ionian Region
- Specific Objective 2.4: Supporting sustainable multi-modal urban mobility in the Adriatic and Ionian Region
3. Priority Axis 3: Supporting a carbon-neutral and better connected Adriatic and Ionian Region
- Specific Objective 3.1: Strengthening carbon-neutral, smart mobility in the Adriatic and Ionian Region
The EU budget for the first call is approximately EUR 65.7 million, which will finance a maximum of 85% of the eligible costs of the awarded projects. Part of the costs (at least 15%) not covered by EU funds must be provided by national co-financing sources (public, private or funds provided by international organisations).
