The Secretariat for European Affairs, in its role as the National Body responsible for the implementation of the territorial cooperation programmes Interreg IPA ADRION, Interreg Euro-MED and Interreg URBACT IV in the programming period 2021-2027, announces a call for expressions of interest for performing first-level control of projects financed through the aforementioned programmes.
Candidates who apply to this call and meet the conditions prescribed in point 8 Profile and qualifications of the Project Terms of Reference, and will be assessed in accordance with the provisions of point 11 Criteria for assessing applications, will be included in the list of controllers with whom the Secretariat for European Affairs will conclude an agreement.
The selected controllers will be part of the first-level control system of the projects implemented by the project partners on the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia within the framework of the Interreg IPA ADRION, Interreg Euro-MED and Interreg URBACT IV programmes, which is an obligation prescribed in Article 46 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1059 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 on specific provisions for the European territorial cooperation (Interreg) objectives supported by the European Regional Development Fund and the external financing instruments.
