The call for proposals entitled “Monitoring, restoration and management of natural resources in Prespa” No. EuropeAid/180814/DD/ACT/MK, programmed under the IPA III Annual Action Programme 2021/Action 05/“EU for Prespa”, was published on 14 March 2024 and is open for submission of project proposals.
The overall action "EU for Prespa" in North Macedonia will support the implementation of the Western Balkans Green Agenda in the cross-border area of Lake Prespa, focusing on the pillars of biodiversity, a non-toxic environment and greening of agriculture and local businesses.
The general objective of this open call for proposals is to improve the management of natural resources in the Prespa region, while the specific objective(s) of the call is/are to improve research, education and conservation efforts regarding the environment in the Prespa region.
The deadline for submitting concept notes for project proposals is 30 April 2024, by 16:00.
The call together with all documents that potential project applicants are required to consult are published at the following link: EU Funding & Tenders Portal (europa.eu). Among them, the central document is the document entitled Guidance on applicants, which contains all the necessary information regarding the call and how to submit a project proposal.
Among other things, the call contains an invitation from the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of North Macedonia to all interested organizations to attend the information session that will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 starting at 11:00 a.m., in the premises of the Municipality of Resen.
The purpose of this information session is to enable potential applicants to discuss the conditions under this call as well as to ask questions regarding the rules and procedures.
All interested in attending the information session are asked to download and read the Guidelines for Applicants and all relevant documents regarding the call available on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal (europa.eu) and to prepare questions and points that they consider unclear, in advance, before the session.
