The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European Affairs of North Macedonia, Bekim Sali, today held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Rafael Soriano Ortiz.
During the meeting, the close bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Spain were discussed, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation in various areas, including European policy, the economy, education, and culture. Special focus was placed on North Macedonia’s European integration process, with emphasis on the importance of progress in reforms and the fulfillment of European criteria.
The meeting also addressed the ongoing reform agenda aimed at strengthening institutions, increasing transparency, and improving the investment climate, thereby bringing the country closer to European Union standards. Both sides expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and strengthen the strategic relations between the two countries.
