The Ministry of European Affairs organized a workshop on the topic "Strategic Communication and Visibility of EU-Supported Reforms in North Macedonia" today, organized within the framework of the Project "Support for Policy Reforms, Accession and Effectiveness (SUPRAE)", funded by the European Union. The workshop was dedicated to the Strategic Communication Platform in the context of the Reform Agenda 2024–2027 and the Communication and Visibility Plan (CVP) of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans and the Reform Agenda 2024 - 2027 of North Macedonia.
The workshop was opened by Elena Presilska, Special Advisor in the Cabinet of MEP Murtezani, Magdalena Šarlamanov, Communications and Press Department at the Delegation of the European Union to North Macedonia and Mojca Grošelj, Team Leader of the EU Project "SUPRAE". The trainer was Bojan Kordalov, Senior Expert for Communication and Visibility, engaged within the EU Project “SUPRAE”, and a presentation of the Reform Agenda of North Macedonia and the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans was realized by Hristina Koneska Beroska, State Counselor at the Ministry of European Affairs (MEP).
The closing session was also addressed by MEP Murtezani, who thanked the participants for their dedication and active involvement. He emphasized the importance of effective communication as a key tool in the European integration process and noted that the new Reform and Growth Instrument, as part of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, represents a significant opportunity for improving living standards and opening new perspectives for citizens.
"Our responsibility as institutions is to bring the benefits of reforms closer to citizens through clear and creative communication activities. We need to show that reforms mean opening new jobs, a better standard of living and more opportunities, especially for young people. That is why this workshop is a significant step forward in strengthening institutional coordination. The success of our communication depends precisely on good coordination between all institutions, the media, civil society and the public," Minister Murtezani pointed out in his address, announcing that such capacity-building activities are planned to be intensified in the coming period.
This Workshop represents a significant step towards building a sustainable and effective communication framework for the visibility of EU-supported reforms in the country, as well as an incentive for further institutional cooperation and public support for the European integration process, and was attended by representatives from all relevant ministries and public institutions that will be directly involved in the implementation of the Western Balkans Growth Plan and the Reform Agenda 2024 - 2027 of North Macedonia.
The participants were also presented with the Communication and Visibility Plan of the Western Balkans Growth Plan and the Reform Agenda 2024 - 2027 of North Macedonia, a strategic document that was also developed within the framework of the "SUPRAE" project - sub-component for "Communication on country policies, EU accession and EU assistance", aimed at ensuring effective, coherent communication activities that are aligned with EU financial mechanisms, while integrating monitoring, evaluation and update systems.
