First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Bekim Sali, Participates in the Summit of Religious Communities of the Balkans

The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Bekim Sali, today participated in the 10th Summit of Religious Leaders from the Balkan countries, held in Skopje.

The summit was organized at the invitation of the Reis-ul-Ulema, Shaqir ef. Fetahu, bringing together representatives of religious communities from various countries across the region.

In his address, Sali emphasized that the presence of participants from different countries is proof of a shared commitment to dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation.

He underlined that the event carries particular significance because it is being held in Skopje, a city where religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity has been and remains one of its fundamental values.

According to him, if the Balkans were to be described in miniature, then Skopje and Sarajevo are the two cities that most faithfully reflect this reality.

As a citizen of Skopje and as a representative of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, he welcomed the participants and wished them successful work during the summit.
