Düsseldorf, Germany – The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and Minister for European Affairs, Mr. Bekim Sali, participated in the panel titled “Foreign Investment Opportunities in North Macedonia”, held in Düsseldorf.
In his address, Mr. Sali highlighted Germany as the country’s largest trading partner and one of the leading investors, noting that more than 150 German companies operate in North Macedonia, employing over 22,000 people and contributing significantly to economic growth.
He emphasized the continued confidence of German investors, reflected in the growing number of investments and reinvestments, as well as the Government’s commitment to ensuring a stable, competitive, and predictable business environment.
Mr. Sali also underlined that strengthening economic cooperation with Germany goes hand in hand with the country’s European integration process, reaffirming North Macedonia’s strong commitment to reforms and full membership in the European Union.
