In the area of Chapter 3.30 External relations, EU politicians are focused on the establishment of a common EU trade policy, rules applicable in international trade organizations such as the World Trade Organization and the role of the EU in this organization, respect for trade agreements between the EU and third countries, as well as the implementation of the European development and humanitarian policy for developing countries. The above-mentioned EU policies in this area relate to trade in goods, services, commercial aspects of intellectual property and foreign direct investments.
