Chapter 3.33 Financial and budgetary provisions covers traditional own resources of the area. This area basically covers the rules and the establishment of the necessary conditions and capacities of the system with its own resources, with the aim of timely and precise calculation of the collection, payment and supervision of the funds, which the Republic of North Macedonia will pay into the budget of the European Union from the day of its accession to the EU. These funds are so-called traditional own funds, which originate from the collected revenue from customs, from value added tax and from the gross national income of each member country. Legal legislation in this chapter is mandatory and does not require transposition into national legislation.
