Within the framework of Chapter 3.10 IT community and media, the following areas are covered: electronic communications, IT community services and audiovisual policy. In the area of information society and media, the goal is to ensure proper implementation of the newly adopted legislation for electronic communications and audiovisual media policy. In the area of electronic communications, EU legislation aims to eliminate obstacles to the effective operation of the internal market in telecommunications services and networks, protect the interests of consumers and ensure the availability of modern services. In the field of services to the IT community, services for electronic commerce and audiovisual services are especially covered. European policies in the area of audiovisual issues are ensuring European cultural and media diversity, as well as increasing European film production.
