TYTLE OF THE WORKSHOP: “Job description, job competencies and competency framework”

DESCRIPTION: on 7 of May the small-scale workshop was delivered by twinning experts under Activity 1.5.1 to SEA Training Staff. The aim of the workshop was to point-out the importance of job descriptions for the appropriate functioning of any organization (recruitments, tariff classification, payments, performance appraisals and HRD/training), as well as to clarify the basic structure of a job description and to show the linkage between job profile and competencies. During the workshop, Croatian expert presented and explained the competency framework introduced in the Croatian public administration, as reference for the elaboration of EU related competences for the Secretariat for European Affairs. The Croatian model would be further developed under the twinning project.
