On March 11th was held the fourteenth session of POLITEA where State Secretary at the Secretariat for European Affairs, Ana Blazheska participated as a guest lecturer. The topic of this session was "European perspectives for personal, professional and career development."
The session consisted of two parts, on the first part of the session the participants at Politea had the opportunity to learn about career development of the guest and the experiences that helped her in building the career.
The participants at Politea received helpful advice about the opportunities that opens the education abroad and the advantages created by the networking process of realisation of professional and career plans.
The second part of the session was devoted to the European integration process of the Republic of Macedonia and the role the Secretariat for European Affairs has in that process.
The participants at Politea had the opportunity to learn about the methodology for undertaking and implementing European standards and the role of the Secretariat for European Affairs in the process of allocation of funds that are available to the Republic of Macedonia through programmes supporting the development of the European Union.
One part of the discussion referred to the current refugee crisis and the position of Macedonia as a "Balkan Route" country which is not a member of the European Union, but in coordination with other countries implements policies that are created at European level.
