Today at the MK-EU Info Centre at 14:00, the Secretariat for European Affairs in cooperation with the Spanish Embassy held the event "European Union in Macedonia": Destination Spain- sport.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Fatmir Besimi PhD, together with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in the Republic of Macedonia, HE Ramon Abaroa Carranza in the setting of the beautiful sounds of Spanish music, in an informal conversation shared Macedonian-Spanish values, sports experiences together with the guests at the event Raul Gonzalez, Alex Dujshebaev, Jorge Macqueda and future youth hope of the Macedonian handball from HC Vardar.

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Besimi stressed that the main purpose of this event is promotion and approximation of the values of the EU and its Member States to the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and that such events represent another confirmation that they are our true friends and sincerely support the integration of Macedonia in the European Union.

The Project "European Union in the Republic of Macedonia" is part of the EU agenda of the Secretariat for European Affairs, which started in 2014 and will continue to be implemented in cooperation with the Embassies of the Member States of the European Union in Macedonia.
