Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of European Affairs, Fatmir Besimi PhD, yesterday addressed at the conference Germia Hill (Germia Hill) - Pristina, titled "Southeast European security in the light of broader regional challenges."
In his address at the panel "Global Challenges and the role of NATO and the EU in the Western Balkans" Besimi referred to the global and regional geopolitical challenges through the prism of current political and economic developments. The countries in this region are making great efforts in order to get closer to these structures and it is of great political and economic significance the sooner integration of this region. Therefore Besimi stressed the need for further strengthening of regional cooperation, strengthening the partnership with the EU and NATO and quick resolution of all outstanding bilateral issues that hinder or slow down the completion of decades processes of Euro-Atlantic integration.
