The Secretariat for European Affairs today was host of a group of students from the University "St. Clement of Ohrid" from Bitola and the University "Goce Delcev" from Shtip, studying the fields of justice and home affairs in order to to learn about the work of the SEA and in particular the activities undertaken in this area.
In his introductory remarks, Deputy Prime Minister Besimi spoke about the function and the role of the Secretariat for European Affairs in the european integration process of our country, the challenges, as well as the planned activities to overcome the challenges. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that the European integration process is particularly important for the democratisation of our society and incorporation of European values in our system.
Representatives from the Department of Justice, Freedom and Security presented the responsibilities of the Secretariat to the students, as well as the coordination process and specific activities in the area of Justice and Home Affairs.
