Facing the challenges of European integration, and the need to improve services to citizens, building efficient, modern and transparent state administration, finding new methods for evaluation and improve the quality of the work is one of the key commitments of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.
In this regard the Secretariat for European Affairs supported by the Ministry of Information Society and Administration initiated the introduction of the Common Assessment Framework (CAF).
Within this activity, yesterday and today was held a workshop of the SEA working group introducing CAF led by State Secretary for European Affairs, Ana Blazheska, and composed of civil servants from the Secretariat for European Affairs.
The goal of this working group is to define the strengths and the areas that need improvement, as well as proposing measures and activities to improve the overall operation of the SEA as a professional service of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia to coordinate the process of European integration.
Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is a tool for a complete quality management which observes the organisation simultaneously from different angles and has a holistic approach to analysis of the success of the organisation.
This tool is inspired by the model of excellence of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and the model of the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer, the Federal Republic of Germany.
