Regional EU terminology workshop is held at the Secretariat for European Affairs on 16-17 September 2015, organised within the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). Beside Macedonia, workshop participants are Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The State Secretary of the Secretariat for European Affairs, Ms. Ana Blazheska opened the workshop and highlighted the importance to provide quality terminology of the European Union legal acts as an important prerequisite for creating a reliable source for the future rights and obligations for the citizens. State Secretary expressed her gratitude to the representatives of the European Union and to the donor of the event, as well as to the participants for their active contribution to the successful regional cooperation, wishing that such events continue to be organised and covering other issues of the preparation the national version of the legal acts of the European Union.
The main purpose of this workshop is the exchange of experience among regional countries when building terminology from the European Union area, complemented by expert advice from representatives of the European Commission and the Council of the European Union.
