Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of European affairs Dr. Fatmir Besimi, today is in a visit to the Republic of Slovenia.
During the visit the Deputy Prime Minister met the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Karl Erjavec, the State Secretary in the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Igor Sencar as well as representatives of the Committee on EU Affairs in the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia.
The topic of the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Karl Erjavec was the Slovenian experience with its accession to the European Union and the possibilities for that experience to be transferred in the Republic of Macedonia.
The Deputy Prime Minister Besimi informed about the activities and the efforts of Macedonia to fulfill the necessary reforms and to implement the recommendations of the Report of the European Commission prior to the December Summit of the Council.
