General objective of the Culture 2007 programme is to establish mutual cultural domain through cultural cooperation development in Europe. The actual objectives of the programme are the following:
- Promotion of transnational mobility of those working in EU cultural sector
- Encouraging transnational circulation of cultural and artistic output
- Encouraging intercultural dialogue
The Ministry of Culture is the national partner institution responsible for implementation and coordination of activities related to the Programme.
Memorandum of Understanding on the Culture Programme was signed on 31 January 2008 in Brussels thus eliminating all the impediments for full participation of the Republic of Macedonia.
