Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs at the Government of the Republic of Macedonia today paid a visit to the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and had a meeting with the President of the Academy, Academic Taki Fiti.

At the meeting they discussed ways to enhance the cooperation between the Secretariat for European Affairs with MASA, regarding the process of integration into the European Union, by creating a synergy of the scientific potential and experience of MASA with the institutional and operational structures of the state administration.

It was mutually noted that the European integration process is complex and long-term, with the necessary exhaustion of the overall scientific and research capacity that owns the MASA, and discussed the potential specific joint activities for the coming period.

It was also agreed that the cooperation with MASA and SEA will be continuous through different forms and on specific subjects, as appropriate to the current and long-term mutual goals.
