In the wake of the announced publication by the European Commission of this year's Enlargement Strategy and Progress Report for the Republic of Macedonia, at the Secretariat for European Affairs today was held a debate on: "Expectations, challenges and next steps in the euro- integrations"
Today's debate is part of the debate cycle "EU Talks" organised by the Secretariat for European Affairs, in order to realize the EU Agenda 2015 and in order to improve the quality of the dialogue in the process of accession to the European Union, guided by the principles of inclusiveness and transparency in its working activities.
EU talks aim to contribute to the calibration of common positions, guidelines and proposals that can lead to solutions, through an open, professional and constructive debate among various stakeholders on current topics and issues.
The debate was attended by representatives of civil society organisations which discussed their expectations from this year's Enlargement Strategy and the forthcoming Progress Report for the Republic of Macedonia, as well as the opinions and proposals for their contribution and further involvement in the process.
