The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia for European Affairs, Fatmir Besimi, PhD, had a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Igor Crnadak.
They discussed the latest developments in the country at the meeting since reaching political agreement on a draft implementation plan of activities for the realization of urgent reform priorities, High Level Accession Dialogue that took place in Skopje last week, as well as the briefing about the upcoming Progress Report held in Brussels this Monday.
Deputy Prime Minister Besimi and the Minister Crnadak once again highlighted the good bilateral relations between the Republic of Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina during the talks and the regional cooperation, and they expressed mutual interest in strengthening and deepening them through concrete actions and initiatives.
Both agreed that the EU and NATO integration of the Western Balkans are needed not only for increased cooperation in all areas of interest to the countries of the region, but also for the strong support they have in the reform processes in our societies which must accelerate.
