Participants: Students from different universities in the Republic of Macedonia and representatives of the civil sector.

Venue: In the premises of the Secretariat for European Affairs

The pilot debate which followed the debate rules of Karl Popper, was held on the topic The European Union should enlarge to include the countries of the Western Balkans.

The debate teams which were involved in this promotional activity were the students from the Ss. Cyrill and Methodius University in Skopje who debated for the motion, and the students of the South Eastern Europe University who debated against.
