Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia responsible for European affairs, Dr. Fatmir Besimi had a protocol meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Macedonia, H.E., Mr. Zlatko Kramaric.
At the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Croatia, which offers, among other things, a mutual support in the accession process to the EU.
Furthermore, Besimi congratulated the Ambassador Kramaric on the future accession of the Republic of Croatia into the European Union, a country which is an important potential of support for the Republic of Macedonia in the forthcoming process of negotiations.
The interlocutors noted that Croatia supports the membership of the Republic of Macedonia into the EU and indicated that it is of great importance that this process is accelerated in order a solution for the unresolved issues with the neighbours to be found.
