Deputy President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Fatmir Besimi PhD and the Ambassador of the People"s Republic of China Wen Zhenshun today signed two new agreements on economic and technical cooperation, which provide grant funds for financing projects of interest to both countries.

A number of projects have been implemented in the project cooperation so far, in the areas of education, trainings/seminars in PR China, which are areas of interest for the Republic of Macedonia, as well as providing equipment for protection and rescue. We should mention the construction of the elementary school Rajko Zhinzifov in the Municipality of Kisela Voda , as the last in the series of successful projects.
Both new cooperation agreements are clear evidence of the preparedness of both parties to continue and expand the project cooperation in the forthcoming period.

With the new funds, in addition to the already provided funds from the previous years, it is planned to implement projects for construction of two new elementary schools in the municipalities of Gazi Baba and Tetovo, two new kindergartens in the municipality of Cair and Kisela Voda, construction of the facility Confucius Institute in Skopje and networking of institutions and organisations in the field of education.

The activities for preparation and realisation of the projects are realised in coordination between the Secretariat for European Affairs and the Economic and Trade Cooperation Office of the Embassy of the PR China in the Republic of Macedonia.
