Component I – Transition Assistance and Institution Building

EU assistance through this component is actually assistance for institutional capacity building and support to meeting the criteria associated with adoption of the EU Acquis. It also constitutes a fund to cover measures relating to component 3, 4 and 5, and at the same time, this component supports the Republic of Macedonia participation in the Community Programmes and Agencies.

The financial support of this component is realised as national and regional support.
