TAIEX INFO DAY – March 15, 2022

During an online/virtual session today and after a break of several years, the informative event for using the TAIEX tool "TAIEX Info Day" was held again. The event was intended for officials who are TAIEX contact points in their institutions of state and public administration at the central level.

The event was organized in cooperation between the Secretariat for European Affairs, the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of North Macedonia, and the TAIEX Office at the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR). The event was opened by Mr. Francisco Lopez-Menchero, Acting Director of TAIEX, and Mr. Steffen Hudolin, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation, and was run by TAIEX contact persons from the Secretariat for European Affairs and the EU Delegation.

The event was attended by 65 public administration workers, who after a long time had the opportunity to hear about the status of the implementation of this extremely successful tool for strengthening the capacity of the administration during the pandemic and clarifications regarding its use, as well as about the continuation with the implementation of the activities in a business-as-usual manner, i.e. with physical presence.
