State Secretary
Assoc.Prof. Arlinda Gjakova was born on 30.07.1972 in Skopje where she completed primary and secondary education.
Graduated in the Faculty of English Language and Literature at the University of Tetova, mastered at the First Private University FON in department of "Political Science, International European Policy and Diplomacy" and earned the title of doctor of science at the University of "St. Cyril and Methodius" in the department of Sciences Politics in Skopje.
Work experience
From v. 2021 works as an Advisor in the Ministry for Digital Transformation.
In the period 2021-2023, was Director of Marketing and Sales at the Post of North Macedonia.
From v. 2017-2021 was an Associate Professor at the AAB College in Pristina and in the period 2015-2019 worked as an Associate Professor at the First Private University FON in Skopje.
From 2010-2021, was an Advisor in the Government of North Macedonia.
For a period of ten years worked as an English language teacher in the primary school in Skopje.

Participant in more than 25 World Conferences with presentations of various projects as well as scientific papers, where it is worth mentioning the evaluation with the highest scientific award for the best paper, for the category Best Presentation, Best Content in English on the topic "International involvement as a non-key issue for the management of internal threats to Macedonian citizenship" at the "International Academy for Science, Engineering, Technology and Management" conference in Paris, France.
In addition to her mother tongue, she also speaks several other languages: Macedonian, English, Turkish and Serbo-Croatian. She has excellent organizational and computer skills.
